Dr. Brooks usually performs rhinoplasty as an outpatient procedure while the patient is under general anesthesia. He takes special care to conceal the incisions inside the nose and along the natural crease where the nostrils meet the face.
Rhinoplasty Recovery
Swelling and bruising can be minimized by applying cold compresses and keeping your head elevated while sleeping and resting for the first few days. While experiences vary, most patients can resume their regular everyday activities, including work, after about a week. You will need to avoid strenuous activity for about a month.
Results
After recovery, our nose surgery patients are usually very happy that they underwent the procedure. They are often amazed to find that they feel much more attractive and self-confident after having just this one facial feature enhanced.
