Springfield Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery)
Most people don’t think about their nose, unless there’s something they don’t like about it. Whether it’s too big, crooked, or has a bump where you don’t want it, Springfield rhinoplasty from Dr. Glen Brooks can greatly improve your appearance. It can help you breathe easier as well.
Rhinoplasty is appropriate for adults, as well as teens once their facial growth is complete. Our patients from Springfield choose rhinoplasty for a variety of personal reasons, including:
- Reducing a bony hump on the nose
- Sculpting the nasal tip
- Making the nose harmonious with the rest of the face
- Correcting damage due to trauma

What to Expect
Dr. Brooks usually performs rhinoplasty as an outpatient procedure while the patient is under general anesthesia. He takes special care to conceal the incisions inside the nose and along the natural crease where the nostrils meet the face. Swelling and bruising can be minimized by applying cold compresses and keeping your head elevated while sleeping and resting for the first few days. While experiences vary, most patients can resume their regular everyday activities, including work, after about a week. You will need to avoid strenuous activity for about a month.
After recovery, our nose surgery patients are usually very happy that they underwent the procedure. They are often amazed to find that they feel much more attractive and self-confident after having just this one facial feature enhanced.Back to Top
